Who we are

ICT-ACT is a national scientific and professional association established in 2009. Since its foundation, the Association has supported the development of the ICT community in North Macedonia through scientific conferences, academic and professional cooperation, student-oriented activities, and links between universities, industry and public institutions.

Our mission

The mission of ICT-ACT is to support education, research, innovation and professional development in artificial intelligence, robotics, information and communication technologies, and related digital fields. Through its activities, the Association encourages knowledge exchange, responsible use of modern technologies, and cooperation between academia, industry and society.

Our community

ICT-ACT brings together researchers, educators, students, ICT professionals, industry representatives and experts from related fields. Its members contribute through teaching, research, mentoring, conference organization, expert discussions, publications, development projects and cooperation with institutions and companies.

Fields of activity

ICT-ACT organizes and supports scientific and professional activities in ICT and related digital technologies. Its flagship activity is the International ICT Innovations Conference, organized since 2009, which brings together academics, researchers and industry practitioners to present scientific results, practical solutions and current challenges in computer science and engineering.

The Association also co-organizes the CIIT conference and supports activities connected with the wider national ICT community, including local initiatives, cooperation with industry, student events, hackathons, guest lectures by distinguished researchers and experts, and support for student participation in international competitions. These activities contribute to knowledge transfer, professional development and the strengthening of the ICT ecosystem in North Macedonia and the region.
