ICT Innovations 2025 conference
ICT Innovations 2025, the 17th edition of the ICT Innovations conference, was held from 11 to 13 October 2025 at Metropol Lake Resort, Ohrid. The conference topic was “AI and the Digital Frontier: Reshaping Modern Society Through Technology and Computer Science.”
The hackathon “Virtual Innovation in Action” was held on 28 June 2025 at FCSE, starting at 09:00. Organized as part of the Virtual Reality course, it was open to students interested in virtual reality application development and was supported by ICT-ACT and IEEE.
Prof. Matjaž Gams from the Jožef Stefan Institute, Ljubljana, gave a guest lecture on 9 June 2025 at 12:00 titled “Superintelligence is coming – how and when?” The event was organized with the support of FEIT, FCSE, IEEE North Macedonia Section chapters, ICT-ACT, EuroCC2 and ChatMED.
Zdravko Nikolovski, CTO at Augment IT, gave a guest lecture at FCSE on “Virtual Reality.” The lecture addressed virtual reality, spatial computing, augmented and mixed reality, modern VR devices, application development and user experience.
The ICT-ACT General Assembly elected the current leadership of the Association in 2025. The Assembly also discussed association activities and conference-related reports for the previous year.

Guest lecture by Vesna Dimitrievska
Vesna Dimitrievska, PhD, from Silicon Austria Labs in Villach, gave a guest lecture at FCSE on “Explainable Machine Learning via Concept Bottleneck.” The event was co-sponsored by FEEIT, FCSE, the Explainable AI Project, EuroCC Project and ICT-ACT.
